Creation of a new species "Aquamavirus A" (seal picornavirus 1) in a new genus "Aquamavirus".
      Decision: Approved & ratified
       
    2011.017a-dV.U.v1.Cosavirus
Creation of a new species "Cosavirus A" in a genus "Cosavirus".
      Decision: Approved & ratified
       
    2011.018a,bV.U.v2.Enterovirus-Sp,Ren
i) Creation of two new species, "Enterovirus F" (bovine enterovirus group B) and "Enterovirus J" (previously unassigned simian enterovirues), in the genus Enterovirus.
ii) Renaming of 10 enterovirus species to remove references to host species.
      Decision: Approved & ratified
       
    2011.019a-dV.U.v2.Megrivirus
Creation of a new species "Melegrivirus A" in a new genus "Megrivirus".
The original proposed species name, "Turkey hepatitis virus", has been changed to "Melegrivirus A" to avoid the use of host and disease names.
      Decision: Approved & ratified
       
    2011.020aV.U.v2.Kobuvirus-Sp
Creation of a new species "Aichivirus C" (porcine kobuvirus) in the genus Kobuvirus.
The original proposed species name, "Porcine kobuvirus", has been changed to "Aichivirus C" to avoid the use of a host name.
      Decision: Approved & ratified
       
    2011.021a-dV.U.v1.Salivirus
Creation of a new species "Salivirus A" in a new genus "Salivirus".
      Decision: Approved & ratified

    2012.013a-dV.N.v1.Dicipivirus
Creation of a new species "Cadicivirus A" (canine picodicistrovirus) in a new genus "Dicipivirus".
      Decision: Approved & ratified
       
    2012.014aV.N.v1.Kobuvirus-Sp,Ren
Rename two species in the genus Kobuvirus to have a consistent nomenclature and to remove reference to a host species name:
   Aichi virus as "Aichivirus A"
   Bovine kobuvirus as "Aichivirus B"
      Decision: Approved & ratified
